Great Music Links

These are my favorite music links--where to buy sheet music or music books,
where to find out more about specific musicals, and where to download
music programs for your computer, such as the ones I use to make
my music and karaoke files. If you have any suggestions or find
broken links, please e-mail

Pages about Musicals and Composers

This is an excellent, thorough site with librettos to Into the Woods, Evita, Rent, Les Miserables,
Beauty and the Beast
, and Miss Saigon.
(Thanks to Marissa for suggesting this link!)

Basic information and message boards about many musicals.
Basic information about Sondheim shows.

Andrew Lloyd Webber
Pretty much a vanity/advertisement site, but could be useful.

Musicals of Andrew Lloyd Webber
Tons of lyrics and other Really Useful stuff.
(Thanks to WyrmofBook1 for suggesting this link.)

Stephen Schwartz
Excellent site about Schwartz, with info about history,
current productions, video and CD recordings, etc.

Music Theatre International
Info about licensing shows for performance.

Sheet Music Suppliers

I no longer recommend J.W. Pepper for anything except
large purchases. They do not have very good customer service and they
list items before they are published without mentioning that the "estimated
ship dates" are just random guesses.
Very large selection of sheet music books, CDs, and karaoke
and they have a FABULOUS customer service department.
Lets you search for a song by title to find sheet music, lyrics,
recordings, tickets, and lots of other stuff.
Great selection in many different genres.

Computer Music Programs

NoteWorthy Composer
This is the program I use to make all my MIDI files. The Shareware
version is free to download and try, and the full program is well worth the price.

Windows Karaoke Player
This is a free karaoke player--it's what you need to play the .kar
format files on all my pages.
